Email marketing for peptide brands

Email is the one channel a peptide brand can own outright — right up until the platform holding the list decides the category is a problem. This page explains what peptide brands need from email, why the mainstream tools say no, and how we built something that cannot be switched off.

Why peptide brands keep losing their email tool

If you sell peptides, you have probably had a version of this morning already. You spent months building a list. You set up a welcome email and an abandoned cart reminder. Then you log in and the account is closed — no warning, no appeal that goes anywhere, and sometimes no export of the contacts you collected.

It is the same story that plays out with storefronts and payments. We have written about why Shopify keeps banning peptide brands and about the payment processors that actually work for the category. Email is the same shape of problem: the product is legal, the customers are real, and the vendor still has a clause that lets them close the door.

The result is that most peptide brands under-use the channel that should be their best one. They send occasionally, from whatever tool is currently working, and they never build the flows that would earn money while they sleep — because why build them twice.

What a peptide brand actually needs from email

The work itself is not complicated. Four things carry almost all of the revenue.

Flows

A flow is an email that sends itself when something happens. Someone adds a vial to their cart and leaves — an hour later they get a reminder. Someone joins your list — they get a welcome series. Someone bought sixty days ago and has gone quiet — they get a win-back. Someone asked to be told when a product came back — they get the restock notice the moment it does. For most stores, a handful of flows out-earn every campaign they send.

Campaigns

A campaign is the email you decide to send: a restock, a new COA, a holiday offer. It should take a few minutes, not an afternoon. Pick who it goes to, write the subject line, design it, send it — and know exactly how many people are about to hear from you before you press the button.

Your own sending address

Mail that goes out from a shared address you do not control is mail whose reputation you do not control either. Your own sending address — something like mail.yourbrand.com — means Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook learn to trust your brand rather than a pool of strangers. It takes one DNS change to set up, and a warmup period where sending volume climbs gradually instead of all at once.

A store connection

None of the above works without your store telling the email tool what happened. Orders, carts, product views and the consent collected at checkout have to flow in on their own. If you are copying CSVs around by hand, you do not have email marketing, you have a newsletter.

Why Klaviyo, Brevo and Mailchimp say no

It is worth being clear about this: the mainstream platforms are not turning peptide brands away because the emails perform badly. They perform fine. The refusal is a policy decision, made once, at the category level.

Large email platforms send on shared infrastructure. One complaint-heavy category can drag down deliverability for everyone else on the same addresses, and the platform's own risk and compliance teams would rather remove a category than manage it. Peptides sit alongside supplements, CBD, kratom and a handful of others on those lists. Sometimes the account is refused at signup. More often it is accepted, runs for a few months, gets flagged in a manual review, and is closed.

You cannot argue your way out of a category rule, and there is no version of your brand that is compliant enough to change it.

How Amino Engine is different

We run our own mail engine, on our own hardware, sending from IP addresses we bought. There is no rented sending account behind us for anyone to close. That is the entire reason the platform exists, and it is the one thing a peptide brand cannot get anywhere else.

What sits on top of it is a full email platform, not a stripped down one. Flows are built in a drag-and-drop editor laid out the way Klaviyo's is, on purpose, so nobody has to relearn anything: pick a trigger, drop Email, Time delay, Wait until, Split or A/B onto the line, turn it on. Twenty-five ready-made flows — abandoned cart, browse abandonment, welcome series, post-purchase, win-back, back in stock — are one click away. Campaigns are one page with five rows, and the send button carries the recipient count. WooCommerce connects in one click. Shopify is next.

Reporting opens on revenue rather than open rates: what email brought in, its share of what the store took, and which flow or campaign did the work. Revenue is attributed to the last email click within five days. Opens never count, which makes the number smaller and worth trusting.

Deliverability is handled rather than explained. Your sending address is set up in one DNS change — or we make the change for you. Warmup runs on autopilot for 42 days. Spam complaints and dead addresses are watched per inbox provider, and if something spikes, sending slows down before Gmail does it for you.

We have spent years inside this category on the ads and storefront side — that work is still here, at Amino Engine peptide ads. The platform is where the category-specific knowledge goes now.

Getting started

Every plan starts with a seven-day free trial, everything unlocked, no card to start. Sign up, connect your WooCommerce store in one click, and import the CSV Klaviyo or Brevo gave you — unsubscribes and bounces arrive as unsubscribes and bounces, so nobody who opted out ever gets mailed again. Within minutes of the store connecting we render your first flow email in your own brand, so you can see what it will look like before you commit to anything.

From there, turn on abandoned cart and a welcome series and let them run. Plans start at $27 a month for 5,000 emails — the full pricing is here — and if you would rather not build any of it yourself, our designers will build every flow and write and send your campaigns each month for a flat monthly fee.

If you want to see the product first, the Amino Engine platform overview walks through the dashboard, the flow editor and the campaign page.
